Worship
At FBC Kenton, we believe it is God’s desire that all people know and worship Him. As we offer Him our songs, we proclaim that He is holy and worthy of our praise. Most importantly, He is worthy every day of our lives. Romans 12:1 says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God-this is your true and proper worship.” At FBC Kenton we strive to gather in one accord and respond to God for who He is and all that He has done for us through Jesus Christ.
Adult Choir
Adult Choir helps lead our worship time on Sunday mornings. The choir also does an Easter and Christmas musical yearly, as well as specials throughout the year. Our media team at FBC Kenton plays a vital part in our services. Volunteers are used to run our power point selections, and also operate our sound board and lighting. Adult Choir meets for practice each Sunday at 5PM in the choir suite.
Children’s Choir
We love our children to get involved in the Worship of our Savior Jesus Christ. Throughout the year our children are involved in worship through singing, handbells, instruments, drama, and other special ways. Our children’s choir meets each Wednesday at 6:30 PM upstairs in the Children’s Department room. They are led by several adult volunteers who encourage our children to sing and perform for the Glory of God.
At FBC Kenton we encourage unashamed worship.
Romans 1:16 says “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew and also to the Greek.” (HCSB)
As a body of believers, we come together to worship the One, and only, living God.
